Introduction
Drawing on our extensive experience and knowledge of the optoelectronics field, Access Pacific's manufacturing product range has been built up to include the core optoelectronic components which are essential to today's applications. Our range includes low cost and scientific laser diode modules as well as laser diodes in most wavelengths (pigtailed and connectorised in SM MM and PM), photodiodes and sensor products, collimator and lens systems (with or without peltier elements), laser diode driver boards and complete power supplies.
Laser diodes and laser modules
The laser diode range has been extensively augmented recently with a very wide range of UOC models available in most wavelengths and power options. Highlights of this range are the new high power products of 500mW and 1W. The entire laser diode lineup is low cost and available in many package options. Our UOC laser diode modules cover a range of 635nm to 980nm in a choice of output powers. Both low cost for bulk usage applications and economy industrial research and development models are available. Laser diode drivers and power supplies
Access Pacific has many years of experience supplying a wide range of laser diode drivers and power supplies. Although we have always offered a complete solution that is ready to use for the customer, we have also supplied basic one chip I.C. products for the experimenter to build up their own bespoke driver unit. Single PCB versions with transistors or I.C.’s built up ready for wiring into customer circuitry have also been and continue to be some of most popular types. Complete cased, bench type units have also always been available from us, where little or no extra work is required to get the unit powering your laser. To help with this some models are available with pre-wired cabling.
Photo diodes
Access Pacific produces a large range of photodiode products in standard or custom formats. The scope of the range is for the most part to provide sensor capability to that of our wide range of laser diode products. As with the lasers, there is also opportunity with the photodiodes to offer custom and low-cost products within conventional or custom packaging. Known for their reliability and consistency in performance, many of our products are designed into critical applications for very many long-standing customers. Connectorised and pigtailed product parts are available along with alternative package versions, and amplified sensor versions. The NXC-2620 Microprocessor
Recent expansion in our product range has seen the introduction of the high-spec, low-cost NXC-2620 microprocessor. The features of this 32bit RISC core processor makes it suitable for a wide range of both battery and mains powered applications such as PDA, GPS, camera, camcorder, MP3 player, POS terminal, photoframes, audio equipment, router, industrial automation and control, metrology, thin client applications and single board computers. Capable of running both Microsoft CE and Linux OS, the product range consists of the NXC-2620 processor as a standalone component, CPU card consisting of processor and hardware and the Development Kit which includes the CPU card, LCD display with a choice of three sizes and support for touch screen, plus additional features.
